什切青 (波兰语：；；德语：Stettin，原称Alten Stettin；中译为斯德丁；拉丁语：Stetinum或Scecinum；卡苏比语/波美拉尼亚语：Sztetëno)是波兰的第7大城市和第2大海港，西波美拉尼亚省会。

什切青位于波兰西北部，奥得河下游，北面靠近波罗的海的斯德丁湾和波美拉尼亚湾，包括栋别湖的西南湖滨和奥得河两岸以及河流东西两道分叉之间的几个大岛屿。

从中世纪后期直到1945年，该市居民几乎全是德国人，使用国际闻名的德国名字斯德丁。

历史



大北方战争以后，1720年，瑞典人被迫割让该市给勃兰登堡选侯斐德烈一世,后来的普鲁士国王。斯德丁成为普鲁士(1871年后为德国)主要城市。

直到1945年红军占领以前，斯德丁一直属于德国。该市的德国居民一部分逃离，一部分被侵略军宽恕。第二次世界大战以后，该市成为波兰的一部分，留在那里的德国人被驱逐到德国。斯德丁接受了波兰移民，主要来自波兹南地区。该市现名什切青，重建成为重要的工业中心，什切青省会。它见证了1970年和1980年 的反共暴动，也分享了团结工会运动的诞生。1999年起什切青成为西波美拉尼亚省的首府。

建筑与城市规划


什切青的建筑风格主要受19世纪下半叶和20世纪前20年Academic art 和Art Nouveau影响。许多地区1945年以后的建筑普遍属于社会主义现实主义风格。

什切青的城市规划不平凡。一个新来者首先看到的是绿地：公园和大道– 宽阔的马路，中间的隔离带上种树，和 环形广场。这使得什切青的城市特色非常像巴黎。原因是，什切青（像巴黎一样）都是在1880年代由Georges-Eugène Haussmann设计重建的。

什切青的这些严格设计的街道还在使用，最近市区又建造许多环形广场和大道。
